Praying & Piano?

I usually try to spend some time reading the bible and praying before I crawl out of bed in the morning. Lately because the sun has been coming out much earlier (like 6am!!!!), sometime the kids will be woken up and I will get distracted. Well, not to blame it entirely on the kids, my mind do wonder off quite a bit during those time of prayer. It has become increasingly frustrating as I struggle to keep my conversation with God, so when Ethan comes into the room in the morning, I usually just give up and will start my day from there.

After reading this blog on 'How to overcome distraction when Praying', when Ethan came into the room yesterday morning, I asked him to jump onto the bed and I decided to cuddle him and started to pray for him. I asked God to help me nurture this boy and show me what gift that He has given Ethan. I left it at that.

Last night, in our church leadership meeting, Dave came up to Kellie and I and said that God showed him that Ethan is playing the piano or keyboard skillfully. Dave mentioned that God wants him to tell us that Ethan is gifted in this area and he will be a quick learner.

I was standing there grinning and say... Thank you God for a quick answer to my prayer.
