Another one on the way :)

Another Chong is on the way... nope, not my dad or simon or any of my paternal relatives are coming to New Zealand, but we actually made a Chong from scratch :) Yes, yes, Kellie is 6 weeks pregnant. What an exciting and joyous expectants!

Kellie is doing well. So far, not much morning sickness but she does have a highten sense of smell. She keep smelling stuff that non of us can and that sometimes sets her back a bit. Also at this stage of pregnancy, she's feeling tired and having an active toddler to chase is not helping either. But praise God, my mom is coming over next week for almost a month. Nope, not really to help out Kellie but I think mom is missing Ethan too much... So, God really knows how to send help :)

We spoke to a few friends and realised that a lot of them, don't usually break their pregnancy news till after the first trimester. Reason being, only after the first trimester will the pregnancy be stable. I told Kellie that I don't quite agree on that because it means that we are really not sharing lives. We want friends that not only be there with us during joyous times but also during trying times. Especially during trying times, we need the extra encouragement and prayers from family and friends.

I remember how much support and prayer we received from family and friends when Kellie has to go through the operation during her first pregnancy. You see, she has to endure an operation to remove a growing cyst just behind the womb and this was discovered in the first trimester. We were all very worried and without the support of family and friends, it will make the situation worst. It's such a blessing to know that many people are standing with you.

So, while the first trimester is a challenging time for Kellie, we can stand in comfort that God is good and family and friends are always there for us.

Well, guess everyone back here really happy about the "new" and up-coming "Chong"...Yahoo... another "Chongies" in the family and can't wait for "his or her" arrival... and also, you leave me home alone for so long... when mom "cabut lari" to see her grandson in the sheepland... Anyway, just take good care for both you and kellie and lots of hugs and kisses to Ethan... Just make sure he still know who and how to call "suk suk"...
